Les Légendes de la route

Premiering at the 2012 show, this new attraction will tell the story of legendary cars and their evolution over time across eight vehicle models showcased at level 5. These unique cars are part of the television series Les légendes de la route, which will be broadcast on Historia channel in January 2012.

Discover these rare automotive jewels, and enjoy viewing the first two episodes of the TV series on-site.

Other activities

CAA-Quebec will be present at the Montreal International Auto Show and will use this window to invite the public to see the inherent dangers of texting at the wheel on its driving simulator.In addition, the Bureau de l'efficacité et de l'innovation énergétiques will allow the public to tame fuel-efficient driving through another CAA-Quebec driving simulator dedicated to this purpose. The event is open o all valid drivers’ license holders.

Daycare Centre

Located on level 2, the Kia Childcare Centre is at your service. Children and parents will be delighted! The childcare centre is equipped to entertain toddlers 3 to 10 years while parents can visit the show at their own pace! Parents with babies will have a dedicated family room.

MIAS Blood donor Clinic

This year, the traditional MIAS blood donor clinic, organized in conjunction with Héma-Québec and CTV Montreal, will be held at the Complexe Desjardins from Monday, January 16 to Friday, January 20, 2012. Once again, we are counting on the renowned generosity of all Montreal residents to keep this wonderful tradition alive and strong.

2012 Blood drive schedule:

- Monday to Wednesday: 9 am to 5 pm
- Thursday to Friday: 9 am to 8 pm
- Thursday, January 19 (CTV Montreal celebrities in attendance): 9 am to 8 pm

Pink Days

January 16, 17 and 18, 2012 have been designated “Pink Days” in support of breast cancer research. During these three (3) days, the MIAS will donate $2 to the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation for every ticket sold to a visitor wearing either a pink garment or pink accessory. The MIAS is proud to contribute to such a worthy cause. Don’t forget to wear pink!
